内容説明

This book provides an analytical history of Mexican banks and the transformation of commerical, bank and finance capital and ascertains the relevance of Mexican financial history as compared to the decision to nationalize the banks. By examining the role of the State in relation to capital, the author addresses important political conceptions about the nature of the State and the nature of class fractions of capital. By incorporating theoretical issues surrounding the Mexican State and the relations of class fractions to the State, the problems associated with many ideological and dogmatic analyses of the development of Mexican capitalism and the nationalization of Mexican banks are surmounted. This book specifically addresses the issue of intra-class political-economic power. Examining the power of the bourgeoisie and more specifically the power and struggles between various fractions of the bourgeoisie provides a very interesting and theoretically rich area for investigation. The author is particularly interested in examining the development, maturation, and power of the financial fraction of the bourgeoisie.
