Description and Table of Contents

Description

An account of the changeable and complex relationship between the three giants of modern politics, whose collective history has largely determined the course of world events over the past 40 years. The author argues the urgent need for all three superpowers to establish good relations in order to provide a firm foundation for world peace. Roy Medvedev is a Soviet historian and commentator on international affairs, living in Moscow. His most famous work is "Let History Judge" (1971), a critique of Stalinism, and he is the author of "All Stalin's Men". This book is now published in paperback for the first time, and contains a new chapter which takes account of recent developments.
