内容説明

Hookworm infection affects up to one quarter of the world's population and remains one of the principal causes of iron deficiency. Control is essentially simple and universally feasible. In practice, however, this is given low priority, perhaps because of the low mortality associated with the condition. This manual is a practical guide to the epidemiology, diagnosis and management of the infection and anaemia.
