内容説明
This book introduces first-time and inexperienced users to the most important features of the Macintosh family of computers, peripherals and applications. After a discussion of Macintosh hardware, the book describes the most visible part of the Macintosh, the operating system or "finder". The topics discusse include: getting started with the desktop, organizing information with files and folders, working with disks, using desk accessories and customizing the Mac with control panel devices, fonts and sounds. Special chapters survey Macintosh applications, peripheral hardware and special operations such as translated file formats and transferring data between the Macintosh and an MS-DOS computer.
