Description
This guide for the amateur geologist and the student of geology describes all geological structures likely to be encountered anywhere in the world and discusses how they were formed as the result of natural processes. It aims to allow the general principles underlying geology to be discussed as a whole providing an introduction to the subject for the general reader. The author has led field study groups all over the world and has also written "An Introduction to Geological Maps and Structures".
