内容説明
This work provides the student and general reader with a broad introduction to the principal developments within black politics in South Africa over the last decade - including the campaigns waged by the African National Congress, the United Democratic Front, the Pan African Congress and the Inkatha movement, that forced the government to lift the ban on black opposition parties and release Nelson Mandela - covering events up till autumn 1991. The general themes are supported by closer examination of regional variations in support of the principal black political organizations, thus allowing the often highly localized nature of political activism to be illustrated.
