内容説明

Family planning is an essential health service. Spacing of births helps ensure safe deliveries for mothers and infants and better health and survival in the early childhood years. The ability to prevent further births when parents decide their family size is right for them, is a human right which must be catered for. This manual, with its non-technical yet medically sound instructions to health workers and thus clients, aims to provide a contribution to the effort to bring this human right and much needed health service to more mothers and fathers in Africa. The clinic is an important setting in a comprehensive family planning service. If it is run properly it helps the programme as a whole.
