内容説明

The development of decommissioning programmes for nuclear installations is of increasing interest to engineers. The major aim is to maintain public safety while developing site management strategies and waste management techniques. This conference brought together experts in the field of decommissioning from all over the world. Discussion of the engineering problems involved in decommissioning covered many topics and included accounts of procedures in France, Germany, Japan and the United States, as well as the strategies adopted in Britain's various nuclear facilities. The papers presented at the conference are collected in this volume.
