内容説明

The increasing use of lasers and laser-related technologies in biological and medical research has brought significant advances in recent years, with the use of laser microspot irradiation of cells in cell surgical processing, photochemical processing and spectroscopic analysis, as well as in microscopic processes such as micropreparation, micromanipulation, microdissection and microinjection. This study discusses the implications of these new techniques in life sciences, through their current uses in cytology. Also discussed are the fundamental phenomena that occur during the primary processes of laser processing, the processes used in laser microirradiation methods and a description of irradiation experiments aimed at living organisms.
