内容説明
Through the use of text and maps, this atlas describes this continent and the ten countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela), the three possessions (Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana), and the islands (eg Galapagos). It includes coverage of the vegetation and animals, climate, economy, population, history, and government. The first part covers and surveys the continent as one entity. The second part covers each separate country. There are also maps of each of the capital cities, and two special two-page spreads - one on the Amazon River, Basin, and Rain Forest and one on the Andes. Peru also has a special two-page spread on Machu Picchu and Cuzco.
