内容説明
Fibre-reinforced concrete is often a viable substitute for steel-reinforced concrete, particularly in adverse climates and locations where steel is scarce and expensive. This book collates necessary mechanical properties, including tension and bending moments, and simple calculations for determining loading and stress of materials used in FRC, including cement, admixtures and composites. It also gives advice on how to maximize the unique advantages of fibre-reinforced cement materials, highlighting the speciality uses such as fibre-reinforced shotcrete, thin sheet products, glass-fibre-reinforced cement and slurry infiltrated fibre concrete.
