内容説明

Social impact assessment was a by-product of the 1969 Natural Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which mandated an assessment of the human costs of development projects. This volume embodies an attempt to go beyond previous works on methodology, and to inventory systematically a broad spectrum of methods with proven utility. Four major sections deal with frameworks and methodological approaches, primary data collection methods, secondary data collection methods, and special methodologies.
