Description
This volume concentrates on tunnelling, resonant tunnelling, ballistic transport, high field transport of carriers in confined structures, magnetotransport in low dimensional structures, overshoot phenomena, quantum transport and physics and applications in small structured semiconductor devices.
Future developments in theory and applications are discussed including the introduction of quantum transport calculation into the analysis of hot carrier transport and the use of nanostructure physics in manufacturing.
