内容説明
Partnerships between educational and business communities in the UK are in a state of growth and development. There is widespread support for promoting partnership activity and the UK government, along with other EEC governments, is providing financial support and encouraging the establishment of organizations and structures to harness the potential advantages. This book offers an exploration of the interpretations of the concept of partnership between education and industry, looking at the economic, social and political origins and purposes. It describes and critically appraises examples of partnerships in action. It includes new models, and strategies for extending the concept of partnership from the present limited understanding, as well as new ideas and practical guidelines to inform the future activities of those already engaged in partnerships and those planning to initiate them.
