内容説明

Working from the premise that expert systems for case law are not easy to build, the author of this work outlines why this is so, before going on to describe two actual, implemented systems. These systems, whilst providing practical and basic support, are still only a partial answer to the problem. Together with a survey of previous work in computer systems, the author suggests areas where there could be considerable improvement. Basic legal concepts are defined throughout the text for readers without a legal background.
