The volume representing the 29th International MATADOR Conference is organized as five subconferences: CADCAM for the 1990s (24 papers), FMS, Robotics and CIM (27 papers), manufacturing metrology (19 papers), cutting technology (30 papers) and metal forming (18 papers). The International MATADOR Conference was formerly the International Machine Tool Design and Research Conference. The primary market for the volume is the institutional and industrial libraries covering areas such as: machine tool design/manufacture, metrology, measurement, flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), robotics, computer integrated manufacture (CIM), computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacture (CAM) and machining of materials.
