内容説明
This International Conference is an event now recognized as an important forum for the presentation of state of the art results concerning the application of modelling techniques for computer performance evaluation, both in terms of case studies and of implementations providing convenient modelling environments for system evaluation mainly during their early design stages. The papers included address current problems with special emphasis on communication, distributed and parallel systems. The techniques used for workload characterization, performance analysis and case studies reflect the need to rely on state of the art methods to account for the special requirements and features of these systems. The description of tools that are under development for the analysis of communication networks and distributed and parallel systems represent an interesting survey of the techniques that are actually being implemented for the study of these systems.
