内容説明
Boundary element methods [BEM] have some inherent advantages in dynamic analyses of solids. This volume of the development series of boundary element methods provides advanced treatment of the recent theory and innovative applications related to scalar waves and elastodynamic problems. All chapters of the volume are self-contained and examples described are suggestive for further developments of the advanced BEM.
Some topics covered are as follows: formulations of periodic dynamic two- and three-dimensional as well as axisymmetric problems [chapter 2]; dynamic responses of isolated rigid footings and flexible foundations, interaction between adjacent structures on viscoelastic foundations [chapter 10]; time-domain formulations for two-and-three dimensional as well as axisymmetric scalar wave propagation problems and transient elastodynamic problems [chapter 3 and 4]; dynamic analysis of soil-structure interactions, including those with both linear and nonlinear interface conditions [chapter 5]; elastodynamic scattering from a spherical inclusion with nonlinear interface conditions [chapter 7]; treatments of hypersingular integral equations and different regularization procedures [chapter 6]; and regularized double layer potential formulations for three-dimensional periodic elastodynamic crack problems [chapter 1].
