内容説明
"Total Quality in the Chemical Industry" gives an introduction to the background and terminology of Total Quality Management (TQM) and points out potential pitfalls facing anyone embarking on a TQM programme. It aims to smooth the way, identifying useful approaches in advance, and covers the importance of training in generating the cultural change and commitment necessary for success. Through a collection of case studies from manufacturers and service suppliers, the book describes the implementation of TQM in many different situations and areas of the chemical industry. It seeks to encourage others to act within their own organizations and so contribute to the momentum of quality improvement.
