Reflecting the developments in EC social policy and law since 1988, this collection brings together all the main laws, cases and materials contributing to the development of EC social policy for the 1990s in a practical single-source book. The new Protocol on Social Policy agreed at the December 1991 European Summit in Maastricht is also discussed and the texts of relevant Protocols appear in the concluding appendix. The aim of the book is to enable practitioners, lawyers, students and others concerned with the development of social policy and labour law in the EC, to gain a full appreciation of developments in this increasingly imporant area.
