Description

In an attempt to understand current problems afflicting the economy of New Zealand, this volume sets out a rigorous framework for economic development which draws on the findings of the Porter Project, a research project which examined the sources of New Zealand's competitive advantage. The Project, which examined the 20 most successful export industries in the country by means of a microeconomic approach, is examined in detail.
