Description
A diagnostic, self-paced workbook designed as a practical tool that can be used individually or as part of a training seminar for building more trusting relationships, both interpersonally and within organizations. It explores how a trusting attitude can enhance the quality of life at both levels, thus improving morale and motivation in the workplace. Each section offers background on the principal concepts and research underlying the issues covered: ways of increasing trust, rational behavior, sources of stress, roadblocks to trust, sources of untrustworthy behavior. Also included are exercises aimed at deepening self-awareness and at helping readers relate their own experience to topics discussed. The book features role-playing situations, case histories for discussion and checklists.
