Description and Table of Contents
Description
The objective of this book is to present some quantitative techniques used in social sciences and related fields and indicate, through examples and computer algorithms, how they can be used to analyze practical problems related to conflict in international relations. Some of the techniques are - multivariate statistics, gaming and coalition theory, factor analysis, economic models and mathematical programming, graph theory, Markov chain, artificial intelligence and expert systems, and fuzzy set theory.
