Description
This three-volume set contains selected papers arising from a conference held in 1991 on precipitation and air pollution. The first volume addresses the precipitation scavenging process; the second deals with atmosphere-surface exchange processes; and the third covers air pollution and deposition. Of particular interest is a section in volume 3 that is devoted to research on radionuclides from the Chernobyl accident. Scientists from over 20 countries, including the USSR and PRC, presented papers on aspects of atmospheric proceses. It is aimed at environmental and chemical engineers as well as researchers in combustion and transport processes.
