For several decades, scientists have struggled to determine how basic cellular processes are controlled. This quest has led to a recent explosion of knowledge and to the development of powerful new concepts and tools for understanding cell function at the molecular level. "Perspectives On Cellular Regulation" presents these findings in a collection of papers describing the research approaches, accomplishments and viewpoints of some of today's leading investigators engaged in diverse areas of cell and molecular biology.
