内容説明
The operation of the international money markets impacts heavily on economies and the individuals within them. This book adopts a non-mathematical approach to the subject of international money markets, aiming to introduce its mechanisms and fundamental principles in a straightforward manner. The instruments which govern such markets are covered - short-term money market investments, stocks, bonds, futures, options and swaps. Emphasis is given as to how prices and interest rates are determined and how prices in different markets are related to one another. Detailed consideration is afforded to how and why the various instruments are used. This material is reinforced with case studies. The book does not assume prior knowledge of the subject and is intended for first- and second-year undergraduates.
