This is the first volume of a two-volume compendium which presents the contributions of some of the most influential theorists and researchers in clinical psychology and relevant disciplines. Topics in this volume address the state of psychology, the philosophy of psychology and clinical versus statistical prediction. The essays are also designed to provide a forum for discussion of the work of Paul Meehl, one of the most influential clinical psychologists of the 20th century.
