The second edition of this dissection guide has been completely revised and enlarged to make it more accessible and practical for lecturers and students on modern courses of anatomy. Offering guidance on how to locate, prepare and perform each dissection, it features: introductory remarks on osteology and surface anatomy at the beginning of each section; revised order of presentation to fit most common dissection patterns; photographic material from "Human Anatomy" by R.M.H. McMinn, replacing marginal cross references where appropriate to help explain difficult structures. The text continues to emphasize the pictorial and divides the text between instructions for the student dissectors and observations for the student onlookers.
