Description
Professor Vesey, in his preface states "For some reason it has been thought that the fact that we can misperceive things means that all perception is suspect, that what we say, even when we have not misperceived, is in need of some sort of standing justification". His main concern in his book is to repudiate the assumption that the philosopher's task is to find such a justification.
