内容説明

This new book examines the expanded applications of arthroscopy in the diagnosis and management of TMJ problems. It contains the latest technical improvements in the imaging and recording of joint tissues, improved understanding of joint tissue surface interfaces and advances in articular lubrication. The book is a record of current advances and new information presented at the second symposium, "Diagnostic and Surgical Arthroscopy of the Temporomandibular Joint". The book includes new techniques for altering disk position using layers, suturing, and cautery; explores the controversy surrounding the extent to which arthroscopic joint surgery can be applied in TMJ pathology, and investigates problems for which arthroscopic surgery offers a reasonable solution; and a discussion of animal models, synovial fluid pressure studies and related is presented.
