This book discusses the thermodynamic and structural properties as well as the transport processes of liquids and liquid mixtures. It provides an exhaustive account of current theoretical methods to treat static and dynamic behaviour of liquid systems and compares results obtained with different theoretical approximations and computer calculations. A thorough comparison of results available from computer calculations and various theoretical approximations is also presented. Particular emphasis is placed on the discussion of binary mixtures, while transport processes of molecular liquids are dealt with at length. Part A of this monograph deals with the static properties of liquids, while Part B treats the dynamic properties and transport coefficients of liquid systems. All essential results are explained using very clear plots and diagrams and additional tables contribute to the presentation of the topics covered.
