Description and Table of Contents
Description
The 5th completely revised edition of this encyclopedia, since its first edition 75 years ago, is made up of 36 volumes, with over 16000 pages and 1000 major articles. It supplies coverage of worldwide chemical technology and offers guidance to the specialized techniques of concern to chemists and chemical engineers. It brings together articles from leading chemical companies, research centres, academic institutions and individual contributors, covering worldwide competitive information on chemical technology and process engineering. There are thousands of illustrations, diagrams and charts and the annual cumulative index provides easy access to all new and previously published volumes. There are also integrated compendia of basic unit operations and unit processes (B volumes). These eight B volumes provide basic knowledge in addition to the information on single topics in the alphabetically arranged 28 A volumes. They describe in detail the principles of chemical process engineering, new and proven analytical methods and the essentials of environmental protection technology. The first two volumes explain "Unit Operations" in chemical process engineering.
All B volumes can be purchased separately.
