The theory and applications of finite capacity queueing networks and how they relate to their respective fields are considered in this book. Contributions are sourced from researchers in such diverse areas as computer science, computer engineering, operations research and industrial engineering, ensuring a comprehensive and wide-ranging focus. It is hoped the publication will assist in the extension of the state of the art in this area, stimulate the exchange of ideas and create new research inititatives.
