Description
This study moves from an assessment of overall Soviet policy in the Third World, and particularly the Middle East, to an analysis of the application of Soviet new political thinking to Moscow's Middle East policies. Special attention is paid to superpower competition, Soviet relations with Israel and the Arab states, and Soviet attitudes towards the peace process.
