内容説明
This book provides the reader with a critique of the curret operation of the Australian legal system and offers proposals of reform. The book acts as both a law book and a book about law, designed for those involved in the day-to-day practice of law as well as for students of law and contemporary feminist philosophy. The authors explore the law's central assumption about women's lives and attempts to expose its inadequacies. It is divided into three categories: women and money, women and relationships and injuries to women. While there are no chapters actually called "criminal law" or "family law", the book does provide a sustained analysis of cases and statutes on these traditional areas as well as of a variety of others.
