内容説明

"Developmental Psychoacoustics" draws attention to the importance of understanding the sensory capacities of infants and children. This resource presents current research in developmental psychoacoustics and facilitates a dialogue between developmental psychoacoustics and related fields. "Developmental Psychoacoustics" should be of interest to those involved in clinical audiology, speech perception, developmental neurobiology and psychophysics. The volume examines basic auditory capacities in infants and children as well as more complex processes such as spatial hearing and pitch perception. It addresses the interpretation of developmental psychophysical data and it details the relationship between developmental psychoacoustics and perceptual development, auditory nervous system development, psychoacoustics and pediatric audiology.
