Description
This work is an annotated translation of the diaries and memoirs of Muhammad Farid, second president of the Egyptian National Party. The first part of the book comprises Farid's memoirs, while the second part describes events as they occurred. Muhammad Farid was in exile when he was writing and the later diary-style entries reflect his activities and the state of the world at the time these memoirs were written. Footnotes and an introduction provide a historical background and analysis.
