Description
The theoretical essays in the volume include one on formulating a freedom-based notion of rights that could be of immediate relevance in the context of a resource-constrained developing economy. Also included are two papers on issues relating to the implementation of poverty alleviation programs, and one on mechanisms for dealing with the phenomenon of urban employment in a dual economy.
