内容説明
"Information Resource Management" is a textbook designed for management students rather than for information technology specialists. It is based on the author's belief that an information strategy must be an integral component of the corporate strategy, and that information flows are the "blood" of organization and management decision-making. The book is organized around three parts - business strategy, information strategy and human resource strategy. The key issues addressed are: how to comprehend the strategic information links of an organization; how to create an information culture within an organization; how to specify the information requirements of your decision-making; how to forecast potential investment payoffs; how to design and implement systems; and how to diagnose problems.
