内容説明
Cancer treatment is one of the most difficult and complex challenges to face pharmacology. Existing drugs produce results only at the expense of severe side effects such as hair loss, nausea and vomiting and are fairly unsuccessful against solid tumours. Intensive research is currently underway to find agents which will be both more effective and less distressing to the patient. This book critically reviews the latest developments in the field of anticancer drugs, in particular the discovery of new targets and sites of action of new chemotherapy agents.
