"Advances in the Psychology of Thinking" is a series of reference books which reviews frontier areas of research in the psychology of thinking. Its authors have internationally distinguished reputations as leading researchers in the field and all emphasize the currency and relevance of the work reviewed. The contents of each volume are selected with the guidance of an international editorial advisory board. This volume contains eight reviews of current research in the areas of expertise, bias, reasoning, insight, scientific discovery and induction.
