内容説明
The last decades have seen an overwhelming increase in the globalization of professional business services. As these become increasingly transnational how can governments hope to gauge the success and influence of these? This book provides an analysis of the reasons behind this form of globalization from the perspective of managers of international business organizations. Contributors, all experts in international business, examine opportunities for growth, environmental and regulatory problems, the difficulties inherent in the management of international expansion, and the barriers. They also deal with the inner workings of the service firm, such as the issue of organizational design, and with the role of the government in regulating such services and negotiating multinational agreements on these operations.
