内容説明

This volume presents the state of the art of passive microwave remote sensing. The focus of the book is on the applications of various types of microwave observational data for the purpose of determining atmospheric properties. The data presented enables testing of existing models of the atmosphere's energy balance, depletion of the ozone layer, climate trends and other environmental data. The emphasis throughout is on fundamentals and method, which will retain their value as new results supersede those presented in the context of this volume.

目次
