Papers presented at the International Conference on High-Temperature Structural Design
内容説明・目次
内容説明
A collection of papers from an international conference held in Venice in 1990 dealing with high temperature structural design. The twenty-two papers are grouped into four sections. These are: design practice, stress and strain analysis methods, damage evaluation and in-service experience. The contents are therefore presented in a coherent fashion. All the papers meet the stringent standards demanded by ESIS.
目次
- Part 1 Design practice: current design practice for high temperature components in fossil power plants and chemical plants in Germany
- designing steam turbines for transient thermal loading
- design of gas turbine components
- on-going developments in design methods and criteria for the LMFBR
- design and construction rules for components of helium cooled high temperature reactors (HTR)
- design and evaluation of materials for space reactors
- the R5 procedures - assessment of structural integrity at high temperatures. Part 2 Stress and strain analysis methods: structural analysis and available knowledge
- rigorous inelastic analysis methods
- simplified methods for the assessment of creep and plasticity effects in cyclic loading at high temperature
- modelling of viscoplasticity and structural analysis of diesel cylinder heads
- structural design of advanced aeroengine turbine blades. Part 3 Damage evaluation: creep-fatigue-oxidation interactions in materials for high temperature components
- damage assessment of components experiencing thermal transients
- creep continuum damage mechanics - a unifying theme in high temperature design
- materials data requirements, creep damage mechanisms, and protective models
- assessment procedure for defects in the creep range. Part 4 In-service experience: life of welds at high temperatures
- the behaviour of welds in EDF fossil-fired power plants through typical examples in boilers
- experience feedback on damage evaluation and residual life prediction on chemical and petrochemical plants
- in service reliability assessment of high-temperature headers in fossil power plants
- expert systems for creep damage assessment and header management.
