Description and Table of Contents

Description

This volume contains the latest communications on the Event-Related Potential (ERP) technique, which can provide information that adds significantly to other methods in the behavioural sciences. Chapters cover the advent of a number of new analysis techniques, including source localization and fine grain topographical analysis. Among the topics discussed are: ERP techniques in language processing, processing and cognition, visual stimuli, auditory stimuli and emotional stimuli; and applications of ERP to schizophrenia, alcoholism, depression, encephalitis, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, cerebral ischemia and dementia.
