Description
Electromagnetism is fundamental to the whole of electronic engineering. All engineering degree courses include elementary electromagnetism and field theory. For those who wish to specialize in electronics, it is necessary to study more advanced electromagnetic theory and its engineering applications. This text provides such a course, and has been specifically designed for second and third year degree students. Emphasis is placed upon communications systems applications, since these systems are now the major users of high frequency electrical signals and radio waves.
