内容説明
CAL (Computer Assisted Learning) is an expanding field and the potential for computer graphics and display is continually increasing. However, those responsable for producing CAL materials and other teaching software packages often lack a knowledge of visual design and thus the effectiveness of text and graphics displays can be minimized by poor comprehension on matters of design, layout and interaction. This book has been written by a group of experienced designers and educationalists and their work has been coordinated by the UK ESRC initiative in Information Technology and Education, and the Institute of Advanced Studies of Manchester Polytechnic. "Guidelines for Screen Design" contains up-to-date information on various aspects of visual presentation for CAL and offers advice, examples and relevant research findings. The book is organized in double-page spreads, providing detailed guidelines on important issues with illustrations supporting points raised. This book is intended for educationalists using CAL material and professionals involved in the production of CAL software packages.
