Description

This work examines the basic structures that determine the organization of knowledge and exercise of power in the postmodern world. Olsson promotes an agenda that integrates and transcends the limited/limiting language of mainstream social science and human action. By challenging the boundaries traditionally separating sociology, geography, political sciences, philosophy, literature and cultural theory, Olsson creates a new voice for the social sciences in which language is used both to say and to show, both as a topic of analysis and as a mode of presentation.
