Description and Table of Contents

Description

Following its radical housing policy reforms of the early 1980s, the British government carried out a fundamental policy review in 1986-87 and launched into a further bout of major legislative change in the Housing Act 1988, and the Local Government and Housing Act 1989. These Acts introduced a range of new policy instruments which are being applied with differing degrees of success. This book provides an account of the new housing policy in action.
