Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book has been primarily designed to prepare students for A level examinations, though it should also be a useful reference for Scottish Higher Certificate examinations, first year undergraduate studies and for professional papers dealing with this subject. The contents are based on an analysis of all the syllabuses set by the major examining groups and the book has been structured to enable effective revision. Each chapter sets out a summary of the essential information that students need to know and then presents examples of past data response and essay questions set by examining groups, together with complete solutions. All multiple choice questions have been set by the authors and solutions explain not only why a particular answer is correct but also why other options are wrong. The book also contains hints on examination preparation and technique.
